You don’t need to have a wardrobe full of lycra, be bendy or touch your toes to join us! This 10 week course is suitable for the total beginner, we will work through a flowing yoga practice, explore basic meditation and relaxation techniques, and some new the pranayama techniques used to calm the mind and reconnect to the body. Your welcome to join if you are building on an existing / previous yoga practice. Each week we will focus on a different physical & emotional aspect of the body,
- Week 1 - Introduction & standing poses
- Week 2 - Back bends & the spine
- Week 3 - Hip openings & emotion
- Week 4 - Twisting & detoxing
- Week 5 - Forward folds
- Week 6 - Arm strength
- Week 7 - Balances
- Week 8 - Core Strength
- Week 9 - Feeling strong and fabulous
- Week 10 - Restorative class in the teepee if the weather allows!
Kirsteens classes are lighthearted and fun and aim for your to leave each class feeling a calmer, sparklier version of yourself. You will receive individual adjustments and attention from an experienced teacher and the course will support you though building strength, flexibility, calmness of mind and connection to your body.
